Scarf Adore

I love this.  So, now I am making a scarf that should end up being around 8 foot long.
As you can see on the top left picture, I have completed the left side of the scarf using the Print of the Wave Shetland lace stitch and added bobbles for extra dimension.
For the right side (shown below) I wanted something different.  I normally work my pieces with Symmetry because it gives me a feeling of calmness.  Now I wanted something with diversity.
After the bobble section, I started with a lace cable.  It felt wrong.  There was no dimension to the stitch, and it was too symmetrical.  This piece demanded variety and depth.

The lace cable was TOO plain
I mulled, I looked at different stitches, and mulled some more.  Finally, I decided to use 2 different cables on the ends and a variation on the Horseshoe stitch in the middle.  It created a wonderful flow to the scarf.  I love it.  Let me know your thoughts.
